Pale-vented Bush-Hen (1)
Adder Rock, North Stradbroke Island
One Pale-vented Bush-Hen seen by both observers skulking amongst vegetation along a very narrow creekline at the Adder Rock Campground. (Possibly seen on the 20th also.) Other good sightings around Adder Rock included two Forest Kingfisher, a male Leaden Flycatcher, a couple of Rufous Fantail and four or five resident Bush Stone-Curlew.

Spectacled Monarch (1) & Little Shrike-Thrush (2)
Mungal Nature Reserve, North Stradbroke Island
A Spectacled Monarch and two Little Shrike-Thrush were seen by both observers at Mungal Nature Reserve. No calls were detected during our time spent observing the birds. A Rufous Fantail was also present.

Beach Stone-Curlew (2) & Bush Stone-Curlew (>17)
Amity Point, North Stradbroke Island
Two Beach Stone-Curlews seen on the verge of mangroves south of the caravan park -one bird putting on quite a display and bathing before us. No less than 17 Bush Stone-Curlews were sighted within the grounds of the caravan park, along with a lone Koala.
