At the older STP off the end of Vindex St, a single Pink-eared Duck with Grey Teal, Hardhead, Australasian Grebe and Hoary-headed Grebe.

Southport Pelagic - off the shelf
An excellent Autumn pelagic inc 3-4 White-faced Storm Petrels, 1 Streaked Shearwater, 1 Black Petrel, 1 Kermadec Petrel, 1 Long-tailed Jaeger, 50+ Tahiti and c15 Providence Petrels. A total of 18 species recorded outside the seaway. I'll put some photos up tomorrow.

Chestnut-breasted Quail-Thrush
Bladensburg National Park, Winton
Two separate pairs and a single male sighted about 2 km south of Skull Hole (22o35'24.9"S 143o01'06.7"E). Birds were calling strongly. This species now seen regularly in the park. This area of the park is only accessible with approval from the Ranger in Charge due to its remoteness. Northern limit of range for the species.

O'Reilly's Guesthouse, Lamington National Park, SE QLD
In an unusual location for the species, was living among croften weed and was the 1st one seen in Lamington NP. Most likely previously breeding, there are up to three individuals.
