Sat 28 Apr Spotted Harrier Prior's Pocket, west of Brisbane
First year bird

Fri 27 Apr Black-necked Stork Lacebark St, Northlakes.
Lat -27.21006 Lon 153.025. Fishing in small lagoon.
Nev Wedding

Wed 25 Apr Rufous Scrub Bird Lamington National Park
Border Trail. A few (3 or 4) different individuals calling along track but difficult to see. Eventually saw one bird jump up on to log for a good view.

Tue 24 Apr Hooded Robin, Crested Shriketit, Azure Kingfisher Durikai State Forest
One male and two female Hooded Robins located at 28 13' 24.67"S 151 38' 12.26"E. Not many records for this species at Durikai.

Adult observed flying over township

Pair sticking very close together, one carrying prey, thought to be Feral Pigeon

Pair present in paddocks opposite state school. Good to see this rare species in SE Qld still hanging on
