Hi all, I just wanted to report that one of the better birding sites in SEQ, Lacey's Creek north of Dayboro, is inaccessible to normal vehicles. I assume this is from damage done during the 2010 floods but I suppose it could be more recent. The road was obviously gouged out enough that the water from the creek now flows quite high over it. The area is still accessible to 4WDs with good clearance but any conventional vehicle would probably get drowned trying to cross.
