Peregrine Falcon, Crested Shrike-tit
St Hallett Winery, Tanunda
Peregrine Falcon (2) One large (female) immature bird rocketed through the winery pigeons missing its target! then cackling noisily as it flew off to the south, closely followed by the adult male. May have been a hunting lesson for one of this seasons young?
Crested Shrike-tit (1) Calling strongly early in morning from usual area in Eucalypt plantation

1 bird feeding on north western side of island in main (eastern) pond. Observed 0945 hrs.
