Tooth-billed & Golden Bowerbirds
Mt Lewis & Southern Tablelands
While guiding guests at Mt Lewis on the 25th Aug we heard and sighted a male Golden Bowerbird. What is interesting is on the 27th Aug I checked 3 bowers on the southern Tablelands, NO birds sighted or heard and their bowers had zero decorations on them.Hopefully not long now and they will be attending their bowers.
On the 27th Aug we also sighted 3 Tooth-billed Bowerbirds at mid storey, this perhaps indicates the birds are becoming active early.
Keep your eyes peeled.
