Minnippi Wetlands
Excellent views of 2 Lewin's Rails at the same spot where Stuart Pickering saw them last week in the Minnippi Wetlands. Followed by Buff-banded Rail down the road at the Metroplex site - a great mornings birding - thank you Stuart!

Elegant Imperial Pigeon

It has just come to our notice from Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service that there were two unconfirmed Elegant Imperial Pigeon sightings back in February 2011 around the time of Cyclone Yasi. We have put a few more details on our blog.
