Lewins Rail seen walking across woodland path near Bulimba creek,Spotless Crake showing very well by boardwalk. Also 1 Forest Kingfisher, 2 Brown Goshawks and lots of Scarlet Honeyeaters.

Single bird seen flying east over Nudgee rd where it then landed in some tall gum trees lining a drain in grassland.

Taringa, Stanley rd, Brisbane
Alerted to Bird of Prey by alarms of noisy miners. Bird flew low just above telegraph wires directly overhead. Good view of off-white flight feathers, barred underbody and yellow legs.

Crowley Vale, Lockyer Valley
85 Plum-headed finches were observed on Monday 18th July, drinking from a roadside puddle and feeding in adjoining property. Birds in both adult and juvenile plumage.
Seen at 11:15am, on Crowley Vale Rd, approximately 1km south of Warrego Highway, east of Gatton.
