Sun 27 Mar Glossy Black Cockatoo Bruce highway near Beerburrum
20+ birds in a flock fly around and perched

Barred Cuckoo-shrke Crown Hotel Dayboro
At least 2 and probably more birds at site previously reported by Tom Tarrant. Both figs are heavily laden with fruit. Best views when birds "rest" in eucalypt at rear of pub between visit to the fig. Lots of Figbirds and Blue-faced honeyeaters. A Lewins Honeyeater and Rainbow lorikeets also feeding on figs.

1 adult going over being chased by various small birds.

Barred Cuckoo-shrike Gold Creek Reservoir, Upper Brookfield
One bird feeding on fruiting fig tree a few hundred metres before the end of the road.

At least two pairs present along sealed road just before the car park.

Fri 25 Mar Ground Cuckooshrike Watsons Road, Mt Tarampa, Lockyer Valley
A pair seen resting in roadside Tree.

Thu 24 Mar White-faced Heron South Stradbroke Island
150+ White-faced Heron flying in large groups of 20-40 moving north along the Broadwater, many immature birds amongst them. Large numbers also feeding across exposed mudflats.

Tue 22 Mar Double-banded Plover Buckley's Hole Sandbar
One individual very early arrival.

Sat 19 Mar Oriental Cuckoo Anstead Bushland Reserve
Brief view of adult as it moved through the area, appeared to leave the reserve.

White Tern, Black Noddy, Tahiti Petrels Southport Pelagic
1 White Term, 1 Black Noddy, 20 + Tahiti Petrel. Also 10+ Wilson's Storm Petrels, 100s of Wedge-tailed, good nos. of Flesh-footed, 1 Fluttering and 10+ Hutton's Shearwater, Pomerine 12+ and Arctic 2-3 Jaegers, Common, Little, Gull-billed, Crested and 2 Caspian Tern. Pied and Little Black Cormorants. (my estimates). Also 2 White-faced Herons off the shelf!
