some interesting comments and observations which I agree with. I was also
surprised at 'Herald Petrel' and 'White-bellied Storm Petrel' being key species
too off Southport! You wouldn't want a paying client coming on a Southport trip
with those 2 as a hit list!
I would have thought Black-bellied Storm Petrel was a key species which is
regular June to October. I don't think there is a more regular site in the
country although I could be wrong.
Historically I have only found 1 record of White-bellied Storm Petrel (I think
you've had a few?) and only 2 records of Herald Petrel (now you've corrected me
on that) . I am yet to see either off Southport - but i'll keep trying.
C'est la vie - and as you say - it was a great improvement from T&T1.
