G'day Alan,
I agree, it looks like an adult male Eyebrowed Thrush and not much doubt
about it after reading the description on your blog, new species for
mainland Australia.
A lot of people will be booking flights to Cairns tomorrow I suspect, just
as well Terry and Michelle are happy to have visitors.
Cheers Jeff.

Subject: Possible Eyebrowed Thrush on the Atherton Tablelands
G'day,
I have posted a couple of poor pictures plus a description of the sighting
and the bird on my blog
http://alanswildlife.blogspot.com/2011/02/terrys-strange-thrush.html
I would be happy for second opinions.
It has been hanging around the same place for two days now though it is not
easy to see and sometimes not easy to see clearly. It took me more than 2.5
hours over two visits to get a few glimpses. The location is on the private
property of Terry and Michelle Heidenreich near Malanda, 370 Stonehouse
Road. They are happy to have visitors, just call at the house or the flower
packing shed for directions to where the bird has been seen. They rarely
answer their phone.
I'll be out most of the day so not much point in trying to ring me either.
Regards,
Alan
