Location: Brookfield Conservation Park

Elegant Parrot (Neophema elegans) (4) Two pairs found at opposite ends of the
park. First time I have found this species at Brookfield.

Black-eared Cuckoo (Chrysococcyx osculans) (1) 1 juvenile found a few kms past
the homestead.

Gilbert's Whistler (Pachycephala inornata) (3) All found by call then tracked
down.

White-winged Triller (Lalage tricolor) (2) Quiet year for the Trillers compared
to last year. Good to find some have still made their way down south!

Red-backed Kingfisher (Todiramphus pyrrhopygius) (2) A pair found not far from
the three habitats walk.

Crested Bellbird (Oreoica gutturalis) (1) Found not far inside the entrance.

Parrots seem to be enjoying Brookfield at the moment with numbers seen on this
trip up on many previous trips, Ringnecks where everywhere also Mulgas, as
mentioned Elegants and even some Red-rumps were showing well.

See reserve trip report for more photos and species.
