Nice one Barry. 1 or 2 Ruffs seem to turn up each year at the WTP, so you've done well finding this one. My gut feel from the pics is your took this photo at Paradise Lagoons, buy hey..theres not much to work on. If you're where i'm thinking, you were on a road just before going out a gate adjacent to the river, and were shooting across a drain/channel with the You Yangs(hills rising from the plains) behind the bird??? You would have had Lake borrie (the largest body of water in the plant) at your back???
