Hi Peter and Barry I agree that this looks like Paradise Road lagoons - and if it is, it's in exactly the same spot as a Ruff I saw a couple of years ago. Ruffs turn up in the district just about every year. I've seen them at WTP and Hospital Swamps - and they are probably at Edithvale on the other side of Port Philip. What's the feeling here - is it likely that we are seeing the same bird year after year, or just a very small number that turn up independently each summer?
