Thu 1 Jul Rufous Owl Townsville - Palmetum Gardens
And now there are three Rufous Owls. This morning--two adults and a
juvenile being beak fed.

Not rare but unusual to have one roosting in full sun on the M of the
lettering on the side of the Museum of Tropical Queensland on Flinders
Street East, in the central city area.

Wed 30 Jun Black-chinned Honeyeater Willows Gardens Park, Kirwan
A pair feeding in mature eucalypts in company with a small group of
White-throated Honeyeater.I haven't seen them in suburbia before.

Sun 27 Jun Grey Goshawk Tyto Wetlands
Four good sightings probably same bird different parts (also mistaken
for Grass Owl by tourists!). Today, Swamp Harrier, landed and stayed in
reeds shallows western end of main lagoon.
