Birdline Tasmania Published sightings for the week ending 30 May 2010. Wed 26 May Painted Button-quail Meehan Ranges Nature Recreation Area (Redgate) Observed near same waterhole as Alan Fletcher's bird in February. At least two birds present. (2). Paul Brooks Mon 24 May Collared Sparrowhawk Sandy Bay One female, perched in a pine tree in Grosvener St around 2:30 pm. Mobbed by a pair of magpies for a short while, with little effect.
