On Thursday last, 15/4/10, I found a very large number, like 60 or 70, Apostlebirds at 10.30 a.m. all around the Old Bakery at Stone Hut, North of Laura in the mid north of SA. I thought this unusual in that although not an uncommon species, they are normally seen in much smaller groups, like 10 to 15.
