It is interesting that while Scarlet Honeyeaters are being regularly seen in
Victoria they are still common on the NSW North Coast. We had small groups
that would have totalled in excess of 100 birds at Shark Bay, Bundjalung
National Park, last Thursday (April 15). It would be interesting to know
where there are no Scarlet Honeyeaters at present in areas where they
usually occur.
