Hi Gary, thanks for that. I didn't mention it but I also felt it a bit
unusual to see them in that area, but as you say, they seem to have moved in
from the east.

I live at Wilmington and  notice a group of Apostlebirds of at least 30
possibly more on our block.  I thought maybe post breeding autumn gathering
like some birds do?

Apostlebirds arrived in Wilmington from the East about 5- 6 years ago.
