I had a similar dilemma a couple of months back when I caught a flycatcher
that was like a female Leaden but the bill appeared to be too broad. In the
end it turned out to be a female Leaden (according to the Birding-aus brains
trust). The main distinguishing character appears to be the graduated tail
in the Broad-billed. Your bird appears to have a graduated tail and would
therefore appear to be a Broad-billed. Where is the brains trust??
