It was a good day for Needletails north of Melbourne yesterday. My
cousin, who was working at Pheasant Creek near Kinglake, reported seeing a
group of over 150 Needletails flying very high late in the day. The flock
was over a burnt area and nearby the landowner was mowing a large grassy
area (disturbing insects??).
Did any other birdos report Needletails yesterday in Victoria?
