G'day Martin & others

Yesterday was a good day for WTNT North of Melbourne. The birds your cousin saw were probably the same birds I saw at Badgers Creek, where I am most days continuing my Swift study. Two and three days previous were even better when I had twice that many birds - but most days it is just a handful or none - at a site that 40 years ago used to often produce 200-400 birds.

Thanks to all those that have been sending me their swift sightings. All & any FTS &/or WTNT sightings e-mailed to me will be much appreciated. I still do not have any from Tassie this season.

Cheers & Happy swift watching.

Mike T.
