Dear Tony Many thanks for all your responses - but what is neeed is action. What I and Jeff, and no doubt others, are looking for is someone to actually take it up with responsible bird and environmental organisations and birders. Of course there needs to be public education. No doubt there are lessons from Alice Springs. And there is always DYI if the other Departments don't help. Humane removal of non-native species is legal (at least in Victoria). Get to it! Best wishesMichael Norris =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
