Hello all,
I'm no expert on this but I have heard bits and pieces. I heard that the
re-introductions were going to be things like Grey Fantails from Norfolk
Island. ie. the next best thing to having the originals which are mostly
of course extinct.
As for the Tasmanian Masked Owls eating the baits via dying rats....
well they are planning on removing the owls as well. I gather the
concern is that the rat-deprived owls will turn to seabirds, woodhens etc.
