Long-range Condors attack Chinese Deer

poorly translated  into something else?

There is an interesting item on Planet Ark's web site, from China, via
Reuters. It seems that Condors are devouring large numbers of
protected deer in a reserve near Beijing. Now, I know Condors are
pretty good soarers, but making a crossing of the Pacific Ocean and
the China Sea is a pretty amazing feat for a bird with the wing-load
that the average Condor has. The article says that the Condors are
more endangered than the Deer. I imagine that non-existence would make
you quite endangered. Perhaps the problem is with Eagles? The item can
