Hi Mark, I used to get very confused with identifying Quails and Button-quails so I compiled a list of all the comments I could find on Birding-Aus and asked lots of experienced birders for their impressions of Quail ‘Jizz’. I have attached it for you in the hope it may assist with your ID. If anybody else is interested please let me know.
