I read on Birdforum about a sight for aiming angled scopes. Just a cable tie around the objective end, trimmed and adjusted so that it and the eyepiece form a sight. Anyone tried it? I agonised over whether to get a straight or angled scope, but haven't ever regretted getting an angled one. I've never had much trouble aiming it, just by looking along the side of the barrel. I have a budget scope, an Olivon T65 (6dmm, 16-48x), which cost about $360 and works ok for me. Peter Shute -------------------------- Sent using BlackBerry |
