And in between dodging pilgrims, today's run around the harbour had a
special treat a Little Penguin foraging in Lavender Bay about 100m from
Luna Park. The first I've seen west of the Harbour Bridge, although
I gather they can be seen as far west as Balmain. Apparently quite
habituated to people, it repeatedly surfaced next to a family lunching
on the edge of the wharf and at times you could see it pursuing shoals
of small fish under water. Yet another google maps link:
