So, the message is clear. Don't fly around at less than 200kmph, and
definitely don't disguise yourself as a pigeon.

Here is a link to a photo I took of a Peregrine with a
pigeon in talons. You can clearly see the pigeon has the
neck broken.

I didn't witness the initial strike of the Peregrine, but
saw the bird with prey on the ground a few hundred meters
away. Thankfully it flew closer as I was getting the camera ready!

No feathers had been removed from the pigeon, so I assume it was a very
