Hi folks -Sorry if this is not appropriate (I'm only new to birding and to this forum), but I have finally won the rights to pick a spot for our family holiday and would love to spend it adding a few ticks to my bird list. We live in Alice Springs and I work bush, so have seen many Central Australian birds, but that's about it. Can anyone recommend a good spot elsewhere in Australia, preferably with some kid-friendly water or bush and not too much focus on swamps and sewage ponds (or I'll never get to pick again!). Thanks in advance for your help. I'm enjoying my daily digest too - thanks!
