I am heading out to Parkes for a week with friends. It will be a family holiday, but I hope to get out to the sewer treatment plant and have a look around. Is there anything much there at this time of year, or have most birds flown the coop, so to speak? Also, are there any other good birding spots in the vicinity of Parkes, and is it worth travelling to Blue Gum Swamp at Forbes – will it have much that won’t be at Parkes STP? Thanks in advance for all help! Cheers Gordon Cain Schofields (Blacktown) NW Sydney No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG.
