I started birding in WA in late 1987. I have never seen a Musk Lorikeet in WA. But as Phillip Griffin documents, there were some apparently in the early 1980s. So Pizzey is out of date. I am including established (and recently extinct) ferals. At 06:03 AM 28/02/2008, Dave Torr wrote: The current Pizzey shows Musk Lorikeet as feral in Perth. If they are there I am sure you would have seen them, so is Pizzey wrong - or are you excluding ferals? _________________________________________________________________ Frank O'Connor Birding WA http://birdingwa.iinet.net.auPhone : (08) 9386 5694 Email : =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
