G'day all Rob Farnes and I were walking back to the carpark from the beach at Yambuk (sw Victoria) a couple of weeks ago. This bloke saw us wearing our binoculars and quickly grabbed his dog and put it on the lead. He probably let it off again around the next bend. This tells me that he was aware that having his dog off the lead in this sensitive area was wrong but he was going to do it anyway if he could get away with it. Signs make no difference whatsoever in my experience.
