Thank you Connex. After the announcement that my 7.59am train from Westona was 
canceled this morning I walked up to the pond to pass the time till the next 
one.

Within a minute I saw the Lewin's from the southern platform, tussling with a 
Spotless Crake in the far north east corner. It then walked/ran all the way 
down the east edge till out of sight. The crake disappeared after the tussle.

This is my first sighting since Saturday morning, and of the crake too, 
although I've only paid quick visits since then.  The water level is dropping 
very slowly and the gauge reads 1.13 (I think - it's too dirty to be sure). I 
think we need to lose another 5 to 10cm to see lots of mud.
