I am a dog owner - I am not the enemy

I find it interesting how there are three types of people in this world "dog 
haters" and "child haters" and those with both.
I don't hate dogs, however no matter what kind of dog you have it is nothing 
more than a carnivorous predator which may or may not hunt down prey. But do 
you think the birds and other wildlife know that this predator they 
encounter is NOT TRYNG to KILL them? Surely not.
Wildlife aren't people, hence a dog owner can't just tell the nesting 
shorebirds that their beloved Rover is friendly.... won't hurt you..... 
toilet trained....has a lovely nature etc".
I say Dogs should be banned from all beaches, and bushland parks and 
reserves.
