Did you really mean 8mm? I haven't seen a Sooty Owl pellet but surely that is TINY for a pellet of an eagle or even a large owl. I'd suggest it should be 10 x that size. Page 211 of Penny Olsen's book has a photo of many Brown Falcon pellets. They are about 3 to 7 cm long. Surely those of a WtE would be about twice as big that those. Philip |
