Hi Mike, Thanks for the rundown on the ID process. I noticed that you say it's unusual for Whiskered Terns to be in Victoria in winter. There was at least one overwintering this year at the Western Treatment Plant, which I saw on at least two occasions. It was in non-breeding plumage.
