Whenever going into leechy and/or ticky areas I always have swingtags
tied around my ankles which warn that any ticks or leeches found on this
person will be cooked and eaten. I couldn't eat them raw I'm afraid.

I think that with the extreme humidity in a lot of SE Asian
locations, one could easily get worked up into quite a lather using
this method.
