Defintly a Dusky. The white tale and green on the legs give it away. The legs are green on juv. and turn red with a patch of green (some say olive) with maturity. Purples are grey on Juv and turn to red only on maturity. We did have four resident purples at Spring Creek Dam till they drained it for upgrades to the dam and spillway. Hope they return when dam full. There is talk of letting it start to fill in the next 2-4 weeks.
