In 2004 I was at Narromine in central west NSW. Here the many Silky Oaks
which line the town were in flower.
I saw quite a few species feeding on and around the blossoms namely, Little
Friarbird (in large numbers), Blue-faced Honeyeater, White-plumed Honeyeater
and to a lesser extent small flocks of Noisy Friarbird while Peewee, Grey
Butcherbird and Willie-wagtail were feeding on the insects attracted to the
nectar.
