I have an old (but functional) Garmin GPS II+, and have recommended the Garmin eTrex series (particular the Legend and Vista) to friends and colleagues who seem pleased with them. For general use, any of the eTrex series would suit birders very well. (I'd like to upgrade to the Garmin GPS 60cx or 72cx, but the price is rather prohibitive.) -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Taylor Veni, vidi, tici - I came, I saw, I ticked. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.comTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
