Hi Judith,As well as the criteria you mention you should also consider "Shutter lag" as many birds don't seem to sit still for long, especially when you get the camera out! I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ10, two years old now, and the only thing I think could be better is the amount of "noise" in the image at high ISO settings. It is especially noticeable on black or very dark areas of the image. Regards Roger Giller |
