Not fishing related but my local ravens are getting sneaky with hen eggs. If
I leave the door of the hen house open, quite understandably, the ravens are in
there quick smart pinching the eggs.
I've been keeping the hen house door closed more but now I've realised, after
it's happened a little too often, that if I'm on the way back to the house
carrying the eggs and, as always happens, decide to do something further
outside and place the eggs down, when I return not long later they have
magically disappeared! And I've a BIG idea who the culprit must be...... I
now feel like I'm being watched! After losing 3 beautiful, large fresh eggs
yesterday that I placed carefully down on some straw bales in the carport, I've
decided to do a "plant" and hide with my camera hopefully to catch them in the
act.
Cheers,
