Sean, Welcome to the UK, where birdwatching is not a minority sport and 4 million people tune in to the BBC to watch "Springwatch" and over 1 million people are members of the RSPB! Downside is that good birding spots can get very busy ..... We bought your excellent book in the UK via Amazon.co.uk and enjoyed it a great deal. You tell a good story and we liked your obvious enjoyment of the great Australian outdoors. We are heading to Oz in September for 3 months birding, walking and just enjoying the place - really looking forward to it and your book was useful homework! Enjoy the Birdfair - we won't be there as we live in far west Wales (think puffins) and it is too far to travel - though I guess not by Australian standards! Cheers Peter and Rosemary Royle |
