I'd also like to make a rare post to birding-aus to congratulate Mark Whittaker 
on his Lapwing piece in The Oz today. I thought I was lucky to get about 500 
words on the bird into The Age, so was frankly astounded (and a little jealous) 
that News Ltd devoted four full pages to it - I might have gone a bit further 
than just covering my expenses with that kind of spread!
