Hi Tim,I use a pocket size pair of dynamic speakers (They use 4xAA batteries) hooked up to my iPod, makes one less bit of kit to carry, and appears to do the job pretty well. There is an ever increasing range of such speakers designed to cash in on the MP3 player market, so it is easy to pick one that suits your pocket.
