Here's a chance for me to really show my worth... I work at Kathmandu, and yes the sale is over. I had wondered about using the speakers for just that purpose, and they would probably be okay. Don't pay $100 for them though. Evan The Katmandu store had the ones mentioned at $50 (reduced from $100 if memory serves correctly) but the sale (in Brisbane anyway) ended last Sunday, 16.7, so they may not be reduced anymore.
