On the weekend (Saturday making myna catching traps) I heard of someone who had a Sacred Kingfisher at their house in Wanniassa (a southern suburb of Canberra) a few weeks ago (as in early June). The species is a regular in Canberra Gardens in summer but at this time of year, this is most unusual. (Ref: my GBS Report) Philip |
