Yours Sincerely Mr Jade Welch Gold Coast, Queensland From: To: Subject: [birding-aus] Flocking magpie larks Date: Fri, 12 May 2006 21:36:43 +0800 Yesterday while driving towards Guildford I saw 30+ magpie larks sittingtogether on the telephone lines, as well as many flying away from that spot. This is the first time I have ever seen magpie larks flock like this. How common is this behaviour and why do they do it?
