In June, NSW Roads Minister Roozendaal has to decide whether to push a
new 60km long, 100m wide 4/6 lane Motorway through high-value fauna
habitat and Endangered Ecological Communities east of Grafton, or
instead use the existing highway route, or maybe the Summerland Way
In a flash of common sense (or dire economic straits) he may even opt
for safety upgrades and village bypasses rather than a Motorway.
Please sign our online petition to save the Eastern Coastal Emu,
symbolic of the 80+ other threatened species in this undeveloped area,
from fragmentation and destruction.

your names when I print them and send them to the minister.

Please add comments when you sign, such as:
-Keep the highway on the highway!
-Safety Upgrades Now, not motorways in 10 years!
-Rail not Road!
-the effect of building/using motorways on Climate Change
-the effect of Climate Change on road transport/motorway usage
-the effect of Peak Oil on road transport/motorway usage
-the evils of PPPs, tollways etc
